Borovets
Borovets is a world famous ski resort. Located about 70 km. from Sofia it is a favorite place for skiing not only for Sofia residents, but also for many guests from abroad.
Borovets is located below the highest peak in the Balkans, Musala 2925 m altitude. Besides the active winter, Borovets and the nearby villages Samokov, Beli Iskar and Madjare offer excellent conditions for biking and sport fishing tourism. Excellent conditions for mountain trekking on designated routes.
